My name is Dorothy Mae Wilma Grace, aka Marge. On a cold, stormy day in December of 2013, a good samaritan found a very scared and skinny kitten, half frozen in a snow bank. Dorothy was extremely hypothermic and near death when she arrived, but Dr Poveda knew we could save her. We started her on IV fluids and gave her a warm bed, within 30 minutes she was up and eating. The clinic staff quickly fell in love with her mischievous personality and we decided to adopt her. Dorothy now earns her keep as a member of the clinic welcoming committee, assisting in demonstrations, as well as supervising the AHT’s in the back.
